Logan's hobbies

Logan is currently in his "Blue Period".

Logan being ever so helpful, helps Grandpop & Linda with watering their flower beds.

Logan's new haircut

What a bid day!
First, a successful haircut (meaning no tears). I admit to being worried when the hairstylist mentioned remembering Logan. We go to get his haircut 3 times a year at the most! Of course the squirming, crying toddler may have been enough to remember him.
The tanker truck you see in the picture was the prize he picked after getting his haircut. This little cheap toy was Logan's favourite toy for the rest of the day.

Second, our first lunch eaten outdoors. We had such a beautiful warm day. We couldn't resist.





Watching the cricket players across the street and the cars driving by.










Thirdly, normally Logan naps each afternoon. Last weekend he protested having to go for a nap (but eventually did). This weekend we thought we'd see how he'd do without a nap. He did really well. We didn't have a busy schedule so we kept the afternoon quiet. He did amazingly well. He wasn't cranky for dinner, bathtime or storey time. He went out like a light. Asleep by 8pm.

* he did wake at 5:45am the next day. A nap the next day was not protested.

A perfect day for a Kite

May 1st brought an afternoon of sunshine and wind. A perfect combination for flying a kite.

With Logan's love of running, it was perfect to get him to run the length of the grass field. He did it non-stop.

Will all that running pop him out for an easy bedtime tonight?
