Logan Destine: August 2013

Logan wished for a Surprise Bowling Party.

I got the idea to make these cupcakes from the internet.

We had the bowling alley to ourselves for 30 mins before the public was allowed.

After a round of regular style bowling, the kids did silly bowling.

1. Bowl backwards.

2. Do a silly walk as you approach the lane.

3. Pretend that one of the boards is a tight rope.

4. Bowl in slow motion.

The kids had a lot of fun and the adults had fun watching!

After bowling and playing some arcade games, it was pizza time.

The cupcakes followed then Logan opened his presents.

Logan really enjoyed seeing all of his friends!

Logan's choice on how he'd like to spend his birthday was to go to Castle Fun Park in Abbotsford.

Michael's family met us there to help Logan celebrate.

After playing arcade games, a round of mini golf. What a fantastic course.

Bumper cars were followed by a Go Kart Race.

After lots of fun in the sun, we were invited for Birthday cake

and presents at Memere and Pepere's house.

What fun! First ride in a convertable car.

The 31ft. boat we sailed on to Bowen Island.

Logan was encouraged to take the wheel.

I think the power went to his head.

We were blessed with another beautiful sunny

Vancouver BC Day holiday Monday.

During our July 2013 of no rain we were invited to Nana's for dinner

before Mike left for his two week Louisiana business trip.

Based on instructions from one of Logan's grade 1 home reading books,

we made a set of skittles (bowling pins)

Logan & Mommy had fun bowling the skittles,

however, Logan enjoyed keeping score more.
