Cultas Lake Adventure Park

We took a trip to check out the newly opened Cultas Lake
Adventure Park.  www.giggleridge.com
It is located just across from the Cultas Lake Water Slides.
While we waited for Michael's Mother, Sister and Logan's cousins,
we played Mini Golf.
The weather was overcast and not a lot of people at the Park.
It was nice as there were no line-ups.
By the time we left, the crowds had begun to arrive.
 Logan and his cousin Kael.
 A beautiful Merry-go-round.
I regret going on this spiny ride especially just having finished lunch...
The bumper boats looked fun.  You have a water gun built in
and can spray the other people.
Logan went on all the rides including the Swings.
It was nice to spend the afternoon with Memere, Nadine,
Kai, Kael, Gage and baby Markaya!

Happy 8th Birthday Logan!

How we were going to spend Logan's Birthday had to be changed
from outdoor Playland to an indoor activity as our sunshine spell ended.
Logan asked if we could go to Richmond's Extreme Air Park.
Logan is easy to spot in his orange t-shirt.

I made Logan a Jujube cake.  He was surprised to find
jujubes hidden in the cake.
Happy 8th Birthday Logan!  We love you very much
and are so proud of the person you are growing up to be!

Summer 2014 Adventures

My co-worker recommended we attend Squamish Logger Days.
On a hot & sunny BC Day long weekend, we watched the professional
lumberjacks compete for prizes.

The lumberjacks competed in many events.  Look carefully and you'll
see a lumberjack up high on the left pole.
Second Beach pool is in Stanley Park and right next to English Bay.
Logan & Michael found a great way to cool off during our heat wave.
Lighthouse Park is located in West Vancouver between Ambleside Beach
and Horseshoe Bay.  There are old growth Cedar & Fir trees (500 years old) with hiking
trails weaving throughout the park.

We started our family stay-cation by spending a hot afternoon at Granville Island.
There is a free outdoor water park for kids with a water slide.  Logan & Michael
cooled off while I wandered through the market.
A last minute invitation from a classmate of Logan's had us spend the late afternoon
in Lions Bay (north of Horseshoe Bay).  Max's grandmother lives right on the beach.
She has ocean kayaks, inner tubes and a motor boat.  Logan enjoyed the kayak.
Logan (red life jacket) and Max (blue life jacket) were very excited to
start tubing.
Max's dad drove the boat.  Michael spotted and the kids took turns tubing.
After tubing the kids wanted to go in the hot tub.  We parents were
puzzled as the weather was in the high twenties.
Thanks McNeill family for the invite!
